Times Tables

Children should practise their times tables every week.  There are tasks set on Times Table Rock Stars.  By the end of the year, children should be able to confidently recall their x2, x5, x10, x3, x4, x6 and x8.

Reading

Children should be reading as often as possible – ideally every day.  This half-term I would like the children to complete the reading activities below.  Please could adults write in the children’s reading records which book and task they have completed each week.

PE

We have PE on a Tuesday, children will need their full PE kit in school on this day.

Our other PE session will be part of a Forest School session on a Thursday morning.

Classroom Bits and Bobs

Children should have a named water bottle with them in the classroom which they can drink during the day and refill when required.

Children can have their own pencil case if they wish, but it is their responsibility; an HB pencil, rubber, sharper, green pen for editing, colouring pencil/pens and a ruler are all useful resources to have in the classroom.

As the weather is warming up, children will need a named sunhat with them in school.
