Bacton achieves School Games Silver Award

We are pleased to have been awarded a Gold Certificate in recognition of our dedication to being an Asthma Friendly School.  Well done to all staff for their commitment!

 I am excited to announce that the athlete who will be visiting us will be Jonny Paterson! Jonathan is a Paralympic footballer with over ten years’ experience in the sport. Born with right-sided cerebral palsy, he's always been driven to prove doubters and bullies wrong. Jonathan captained the Paralympics GB team at his debut in Beijing 2008 and also competed at the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Games.

 

On Thursday 27th March, all pupils will take part in a sponsored fitness circuit run by Jonny, a terrific way to get all children excited about sport and realise that getting moving is really fun! Jonny will then share his incredible sporting journey, a story of resilience and determination in a fun and interactive assembly. There will also be an opportunity to ask any burning questions in a Q&A session.
