We are delighted to welcome you and your child to the Robin class.
Your child’s learning journey is shared with you through Tapestry, our online learning platform. This is where you can see what your child has been exploring in school and where we look forward to celebrating learning that happens at home too. This could be anything from riding a bike for the first time to learning to swim — every achievement matters!
To help you get started, we have included a Parents’ Guide to Tapestry. The Tapestry app is available to download on both iPhone/iPad and Android devices, making it easy to stay connected wherever you are.

Learning to Read and Write in Robin Class
We run phonics information sessions for parents to support you in helping your child at home as they learn to read. At school, the children learn phonics every day and their reading books they bring home will reflect the sounds they have been learning at school. What is phonics?

How do we teach maths in Reception?
Using the Maths Mastery scheme, we teach children strong foundational knowledge of number, which will set them in good stead for their mathematical journey throughout school.
