Our School Achieves Gold in Rail Safety!

We are delighted to announce that our school has been awarded the Gold Rail Safety Certificate, recognising our outstanding commitment to keeping children safe around railway lines.

Over the past term, every class has taken part in dedicated rail safety assemblies. Pupils explored how to stay safe near train tracks, level crossings, and stations, and learned why railways must always be treated with care and respect. Teachers have praised the children for their thoughtful discussions, excellent questions, and responsible attitudes throughout the programme.

This achievement reflects our whole-school commitment to safeguarding and preparing pupils with real-world knowledge that helps keep them safe beyond the classroom.

A huge well done to all our children for their hard work, and a big thank you to the staff who supported this learning. We are incredibly proud to receive the Gold Award and look forward to continuing our work in promoting safety both in and out of school.
