This week (23/2/2026)
This week, we have been working on writing our own play scripts—one of which will be performed by actors at the Theatre Royal during our visit later this term! We have been lucky enough to welcome two playwrights into school, who have helped inspire and guide the children. The ideas flowing from the classes have been fantastic, and the children are buzzing with creativity.
In Maths, we have been learning how to find equivalent decimals, fractions and percentages, building confidence in making connections between them.
In Geography, we have begun a new unit all about energy, exploring where it comes from and how we use it.
In Science, we are learning about puberty and adolescence, helping pupils understand the changes that happen as they grow. You may find that this leads to some questions or conversations at home.
